Housed at the Robert H. Smith School of Business, the Ed Snider Center for Enterprise and Markets engages in world-class, interdisciplinary research on the conditions that support human enterprise and well-functioning markets. The guiding principle for the Ed Snider Center is that social progress is born of free and creative individuals who, driven by self-motivation, passion, and a positive approach to trading value for value, make the world a better place.

    The Ed Snider Center fosters partnerships to create solutions, rooted in research, to solve real-world problems, priding itself on being a trusted partner to encourage innovation and customization. Resources like the Snider Undergraduate Research Experience present undergraduates with an individualized hands-on research opportunity allowing them to contribute to the collective knowledge pool. Snider Focus, a digital publication, features groundbreaking research on enterprise and markets.

    The Ed Snider Center offers one-of-a-kind resources that promote the entrepreneurial mindset. They produce The Inc. Tank podcast, which examines technologies that change the way you do business, and they sponsor a Student Leadership Award that honors excellence in innovation, enterprise, and resilience. Also, the Snider Professional Development Society, a student club, provides opportunities to develop collaborative interpersonal and resourceful relationships.
