The Maryland SBDC links private enterprise, government, higher education and local economic development organizations to provide high-quality training, confidential, individualized consulting and market and industry research to Maryland's small businesses. Many SBDC consultants are former business owners or have financial or economic development expertise. Specialty consulting services include retail, restaurant, technology business valuation, and executive training. Services are provided in 5 regional offices and 24 locations throughout the state.
