QUEST students work on multidisciplinary teams, applying their collective learning to projects with real companies. Through site visits and data collection and analysis, teams provide companies with immediately applicable recommendations to enhance efficiency, improve processes, drive productivity, and reduce costs. Partnering with QUEST is an opportunity to receive real value for your company while gaining access to top student and faculty talent in business, engineering, and science.

QUEST doesn’t simply apply a fresh set of eyes to a problem, but eyes that are equipped with multidisciplinary talents and often multicultural views. QUEST offers a unique and valuable consulting experience difficult to find elsewhere.

The Quality Enhancement Systems and Teams (QUEST) Honors Program is a challenging, hands-on program for University of Maryland undergraduates from three participating schools. Students complete five courses over three years and work on team-based, experiential learning projects in each course. Students who complete the program gain skills in process improvement, systems thinking, product design and development, data analysis, oral and written communication, and teamwork in addition to a network of passionate and motivated peers, alumni, faculty, and administrators.

The teams engage with such enthusiasm that our employees and managers look forward to working with them. Each student has passion, thinks outside of the box, and offers real solutions to drive to an ideal state.
