Christine Kuehl Kunkel is the Director of Professional Programs at the University of Maryland Alumni Association. With over 20 years of experience in higher education, she is responsible for developing and leading programs, events, and alumni engagement activities that cater to entrepreneurs, business leaders, and executive-level alumni. She also focuses on fostering collaboration across departments to strengthen relationships and support Terp-owned businesses and executive-level alumni.

Before returning to work at her alma mater in 2020, Christine was the Associate Director of the Foreign Policy Institute and the Philip Merrill Center for Strategic Studies at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies. During her time there, she provided operational leadership, oversaw strategic planning, and led program development for the two research institutes.

Outside of the Alumni Association, Christine serves as the Advisory Team Chair for the Beta Sigma chapter of Delta Gamma at the University of Maryland. In this role, she offers guidance and support to the sorority's collegiate members and leads a team of alumnae advisors.

Christine graduated from the University of Maryland with a degree in Government and Politics and a scholar's certificate in International Studies. She also earned a Management Development Certificate from Johns Hopkins University's Carey School of Business.
