Katlin Gray

Katlin Gray is a senior program manager at the Do Good Institute. Katlin oversees the strategic development of the Do Good Campus, a campus-wide initiative that seeks to provide education, opportunities, and resources to develop the next generation of nonprofit leaders, social innovators, and civic-minded students. 

Using hands-on, active, and engaged learning approaches, Katlin develops and delivers curriculum focused on social impact and civic engagement. She also provides support and consultations to living-learning programs, academic programs, and faculty seeking to bolster or incorporate these concepts into their courses and programs. In her previous role as coordinator, Katlin led the coordination of the Do Good Challenge, a campus-wide social impact competition and  Mini-Grants program, a student fund offering small scale awards to kickstart social impact projects and ventures.

Prior to joining the Institute, Katlin served two terms in the AmeriCorps Volunteers In Service to America (VISTA) program. Katlin served her first term at the Center for Career and Civic Engagement at Winthrop University in South Carolina. During her second term, Katlin served with the Maryland-DC Campus Compact as an interim program director to support a cohort of 25 grantees of higher education institutions who encourage and promote civic engagement and campus-community partnerships.

Katlin graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Arts in English language and literature. She has earned a Certificate in applied positive psychology from the Flourishing Center and has also completed the Stanford d.school Teaching and Learning Studio.
