Terrapins Connect, powered by PeopleGrove was launched in 2015 by the University of Maryland Alumni Association to ensure that Terps have an exclusive space to connect with one another. This virtual platform enables Terps from across the world to connect with one another for mentoring, networking and professional opportunities.
Unlike LinkedIn, every student, alumnus, faculty/staff member and university partner on Terrapins Connect has virtually “raised their hand” to be a member of this community and opted-in to networking, connecting, and supporting fellow Terps. By joining the platform, you not only gain access to thousands of fellow Terps, but also to formal and informal mentoring programs and an active discussion board led by the community.
