Stephanie Cantor is a Strategic Consultant for Social Value Creation (CSVC) at the Robert H. Smith School of Business, University of Maryland. She oversees the Center’s strategic growth plan including subject matters like financial sustainability, board development, and strategic partnership engagement. She also was the driver for CSVC’s first-ever State of Impact thought-leadership report and serves as an advisor for the annual ESG Conference.
Cantor began her career as a Consultant at PwC, managing International Development and Corporate Social Responsibility projects. She moved to London in 2017 where she worked for a non-profit. She earned a Master’s in Science degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science and started a social enterprise in Kenya tackling youth unemployment in Nairobi's slums. She also founded ads4change, a social enterprise that amplifies the work of social impact organizations through digital advertising.
Cantor graduated Magna Cum Laude in Finance from the University of Maryland Robert H. Smith School of Business in 2012. While at Smith, she co-founded the Social Innovation Fellows program and was a key part of the Center for Social Value Creation from its inception. She also completed the University Honors and Business Honors Fellows programs at Smith.
