Anntoinette Barbour

Anntoinette C. Barbour is the Business Office Manager for the Quantum Startup Foundry at the University of Maryland. She has more than 20 years in business administration and management. 

Having worked in the Financial Banking Industry, State of Maryland Department of Commerce, and the University of Maryland, she is uniquely positioned to aid in business development.

While at the Department of Commerce, she worked to establish newly legislated funds as an Financial Administrator and Program Manager. Anntoinette also worked with statewide Small Business Development Centers, Economic Development Center and financial organizations to develop, support and grow small businesses.

After joining the University of Maryland team in 2018 as a Program Coordinator, she began coordinating and hosting international and domestic training events. The 4-week Summer Intensive Program, several Sanitary and Phytosanitary Food Safety trainings and the ongoing South American Water Sampling projects were hosted both domestically and international for a global audience.

Anntoinette is an integral part of the two-person team that supports the Quantum Startup Foundry. She is well versed in program management/coordination, training/instruction, small business development and financial record keeping. 

Anntoinette holds a Master’s Degree in Acquisitions and Supply Chain Management and a Masters of Business Administration.
