College Park City-University Partnership

The College Park City-University Partnership (CPCUP) is the nonprofit local community development corporation working to make College Park a top-20 university community.

Our mission is to promote and support the economic welfare of College Park and the University of Maryland through activities including commercial revitalization, community development, and quality housing opportunities consistent with the interests of the City of College Park and the University of Maryland.

We have been working in collaboration with our partners at the City of College Park, the University of Maryland, Prince George’s County, the State of Maryland and the community since 1997 – and have recently adopted the University Community Vision 2030.

Key strategy areas for CPCUP include:

  1. Neighborhood Preservation and Development,
  2. Education
  3. Equity and Sustainability
  4. Transportation and Mobility
  5. Public Health and Safety
